Location: Maui, HI
Compensation: $80,000 – $95,000 annually + fully covered medical insurance, PTO, and annual bonus

A wonderful family in Maui is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laundress to oversee all aspects of laundry and wardrobe care within their private household. Responsibilities
Laundry & Garment Care
• Wash, dry, steam, and press clothing and household linens
• Sort and treat garments by fabric, color, and care requirements
• Perform stain removal and specialty garment treatment
• Follow manufacturer and designer care instructions precisely
• Manage delicate, couture, and specialty items
Wardrobe & Closet Management
• Organize closets, drawers, and seasonal wardrobes
• Rotate seasonal clothing and store garments properly
• Prepare clothing for travel and unpack upon return
• Maintain clothing inventory and condition
Linen & Household Textiles
• Launder and maintain bedding, towels, and table linens
• Properly fold, store, and rotate linens
• Maintain guest-ready linen standards
• Coordinate seasonal linen changes
Dry Cleaning & Vendor Coordination
• Manage dry cleaning and specialty laundry services
• Prepare, track, and return garments from vendors
• Ensure quality control on all outsourced services
Equipment & Laundry Room Management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas
• Properly operate and maintain washers, dryers, and steamers
• Track laundry supplies and place orders as needed
• Report equipment issues promptly
Household Support
• Assist Housekeeping team when needed
• Support household routines and special projects
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Laundress in a private household or luxury hospitality setting
- Extensive knowledge of fine fabrics, stain treatment, and garment care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage high-volume laundry
- Professional, discreet, and service-minded demeanor
- Physically able to perform laundry and garment care duties
- Flexible and collaborative team player
